Mitel 3300 configuration

*There will need to be an available “IP User” license on the Mitel 3300 for every SIP extension (q-sys softphone).

 

SIP Station setup.

User and Services Configuration

  1. Create a new unused extension, with the device type “Generic SIP Phone”
  2. Select Service Profile tab
    1. Number is the extension and will be used by Q-sys

  1. Select Access and Authentication Tab
  2. Set password for authentication under “SIP Password” (will be used as Q-sys Authentication password)

Q-sys Setup:

Designer

  1. Add a softphone(s) to designer file.
  2. Save to core and run

 

Core Manger -> Telephony

  1. Configure Softphones General settings
    1. Select the correct Interface
    2. SIP Port 5060 unless advised otherwise
    3. Audio Codecs G.711ulaw and G.722
