QSC updated the Automatic Camera Preset Recall Plugin. Now v2.0.  It contains support for Discrete/ Lobed mics and will work with the MXA910. To use this programmers should install the plugin from the asset manager. While in the asset manager, they should click the "help" link for the plugin setup information.

Follow these steps to a successful deployment.

1. Install/Update plugin and add to Q-sys design window

2.  Highlight the plugin and configure properties:

       a. Type: Discrete Mics

       b. Channels: 10, 20,...90. Choose lowest number required to meet your needs.

3. Add required components to build your design file.  Highlight and name components that will be used by the plugin. Cameras, camera router, and Gating Automatic Mixer.

4. Emulate or load to core.  Double click to open the Automatic Camera Preset Recall Plugin. On the setup page define how many cameras are in the design.  For each camera select the appropriate camera from the drop down list. Below the cameras, select the camera router from the drop down list.  Set the Default Home Position, by selecting auto, or selecting a camera, adjusting it's position and click Save.

6. On the Channels tab of the plugin, select the gating automatic mixer for the plugin.  The Gating Automatic mixer will define which mic/lobe is active for the plugin. The plugin will look at which gate(s) are open.  Use a sperate gating mixer for audio and for camera presets. The threshold level above noise floor may be different.

Define the number of Zones (positions), select the correct camera for each zone and save their respective positions.

7. BE sure to send the AEC Reference to the ACPR plugin via a gate.  The gate allows for the plugin to know when the far end is talking and not just noise.
