AES67 for the MXA910 or MXW is setup from within Dante Controller (version 3.10 or higher).

  1. Update the MXA910 to the latest firmware. AES67 is supported on MXA910 firmware versions 2.0 and greater.
  2. Use the MXA910 GUI to setup the microphone lobes.
  3. If you have more than one MXA910, it is worth changing the device name. This name will be used to identify the mic in Dante Controller. In the MXA910 GUI, select SETTINGS, change the DEVICE NAME, then click the ""Push to Dante"" button.
  4.  In Dante Controller, double click the MXA910 to open the Device View.
  5. Select the ""AES67 Config"" tab (red arrow). Enable AES67 (blue arrow). Reboot the MXA910 (yellow arrow).

  7. Each lobe on the MXA910 corresponds to a channel in AES67. While still viewing the Device View in Dante Controller, click the ""Create Multicast Flow"" button. The Create Multicast Flow window will open.
  8. Select ""AES67 Flow"" (red arrow). Select the channels that you with to add to the AES67 flow (blue arrow). Click ""Create"" (yellow arrow).

  10. While still viewing the Device View in Dante Controller, select the ""Transmit"" tab. A list of all the transmit flows created for the MXA910 as well as the Multicast IP address and Multicast Flow Number will be shown. Verify that these are correct.
  11. The MXA910 is now setup.
  12. For the receiving device, consult the manufacturer's documentation on how to set it up to receive the AES67 flow.
